Pelagos — Privacy Policy
Last updated: 24 July 2026
Pelagos lets you track which Greek islands you have visited on a map. This policy explains what we collect and why. In short: Pelagos works offline without an account, and your island list stays on your device unless you choose to sign in.
Using Pelagos without an account
You can use Pelagos without signing in. Your island list is stored only on your device and is not sent to us.
If you sign in
If you sign in with Google or Apple, we use your name, email address, profile photo, and island list only to sync your progress across your devices and to enable the Friends feature (so friends you connect with can see each other's progress). Your data is stored using Google Firebase (Authentication and Cloud Firestore) and is transmitted over encrypted (HTTPS) connections.
What we do not do
Pelagos contains no advertising, no third-party analytics or tracking, and we do not sell or share your data with third parties. We only use the Google Firebase services needed to run the app.
Your choices
You can sign out at any time, which stops syncing while keeping your list on your device. You can permanently delete your account from within the app: go to Profile → Danger zone → Delete account. This immediately and permanently removes your Firebase Authentication account, your Firestore profile, your friends and referral-code data, and your locally stored island list. For any other request about your data, contact us at the email below.
Children
Pelagos is intended for users aged 18 and over and is not directed to children.
